Stone Axe for History
20181113_153548.jpg

Two years ago my history teacher, Jason Siegel, gave us an assignment that required us to write about a topic from the textbook. I chose the chapter on the earlier days of the beginning of humans. This ax represents one of the plethoras of tools that the early humans used. It was a fun project to do, and it was something that allowed me to be more crafty with my hands- which is a strong suit of mine.

GMO Biology Project
20180310_183634.jpg

This project was for my biology class, led by Patricia W.,  last year we covered a lot of the information about GMO Soybeans. My partner Tyree and I both collaborated on the project and were able to produce something that we were both proud of. This project was a lot like my other group projects from last year, and it went very smoothly. My group skills have been able to grow a lot because of ACLC. I hope these skills can carry over when I get into a college because the number of projects will only increase.

Code: http://www.rapidtables.com/tools/editor.htm

start: while(true) {

var Play = window.prompt("Do you want to play, Dungeon of Horror that doesn't really effect your results, yes or no?")

if(Play === "no") {

  window.alert("Then why are you playing?")

  exit

 }

if(Play == "yes") {

  window.alert("You are walking down a path into the woods and you find yourself at two different paths. One that has a clear path to your destination or the  dark path that looks sketchy.")

  var Path = window.confirm("Click 'Ok' to go onto the clearer less scary path, or click 'Cancel' to go onto the scary sketchy path.")

  if(Path == true) {

    window.alert(" Excellent choice because your still in one piece! ")

  }

  if(Path == false) {

    window.alert("You got some balls kid. I don’t understand how you made it this far?")

}

  window.alert("Now you might not know why you are here, but let me just break it down for you. Gold and loot, that’s all you need to know. Let’s continue to the story.")

  window.alert("You arrive at your destination. There is a sign that says, “The Dungeon of Horror”. You're excited to finally start your quest, no not really but you are doing this for the loot. However, before you get into the dungeon there's a guard in front. You have two options befriend the gigantic guard or shank it with your pathetic knife.")

  var GG = window.confirm(" Click ‘OK’ to befriend the gigantic guard, or click ‘Cancel’ to shank the gigantic guard with your PATHETIC knife. P.S. none of these are good choices.")

  if(GG == true) {

    window.alert(" Well, the guard didn’t kill you, after you hugged it. It doesn’t  seem as dangerous as before, looks like you're in a relationship now.")

  }

  if(GG == false) {

    window.alert("This works! Why are you still alive? Doesn’t matter, you continue onwards.")

    }

  window.alert("After your encounter with the gigantic guard, which apparently sucked at its job, you open the gate, which leads you to the Dungeon of Horror. As you make your way down to the next entrance you are violently stopped by another guard. However, this guard is twice as big as the first one. Luckily you were able to find a sword on the way to the main entrance. Do you want to attack or flee?")

  var GGG = window.confirm("Click ‘OK’ to attack the gigantic giant guard or click ‘Cancel’ to dodge and surpass the gigantic giant guard.")

  if(GGG == true) {

    window.alert("This also worked?! How are you not dead? I thought by now you would be dead. Jesus man…. I guess… you continue on. Man.")

    }

  if(GGG == false) {

    window.alert("Man if you would have chosen OK than you would have been surprised, but you didn’t because you're still alive and you’re a coward. That’s right, I said it.")

    }

  window.alert("If you are still playing the game, you are now at the main entrance and once you open that door you can’t get out. Your Character proceeds through the open door. You are in the Dungeon of Horror. Woooo...woooo is the sound you hear. You continue towards the direction of the noise. The mystery noise, is revealed and appears to be a ghost. Your sword will not be able to kill him for the ghost is a ghost and you can not stab the dead. You are left with two options, as always. You can either try to kill the ghost with the sword which is a bad move or you can face your death which is also a horrible idea. ")

  var G = window.confirm("Click ‘OK’ to try or click ‘Cancel’ to die. Your choice")

  if(G == true) {

    window.alert("Why is it that you always find a way to kill your challenger. I mean you didn’t even kill him. He just ran away because the ghost didn’t know he was already dead. This game is rigged for you to win.")

  }

  if(G == false) {

    window.alert("The Ghost then kills you and murders your children. Nah,I’m just kidding the Ghost just pasted you as if you were a normal person. Strange, it is as though he still believes he is alive.")

  }

  window.alert("You're getting closer to your goal, but not close enough because I won’t let you. I will just continue to make more obstacles until you die. Your next challenger is not as weak or pathetic as the previous challenges before this one. This one is special. As you make your way further in the rabbit hole, right in front of you is a two-headed python with big fangs. That’s right, I said, big as in enormous. What are you going to do now? You have option A, to kill it or option B, run and forget about the treasure. ")

var P = window.confirm("Click ‘OK’ for option A for me to see you finally die or click ‘Cancel’ to run to your Mommy. Both choice are good for me.")

   if(P == true) {

     window.alert("Of Course you lived. But don't think it's that easy, just yet.")

   }

   if(P == false) {

     window.alert("Even when you choose to leave the two-head python died out of nowhere, but I am not done yet")

   }

  window.alert("You might think that you are now close to your loot, but your not.  I have a master plan and that there's more, three in fact including, the boss. This boss is like no other he will kill you with just a look. So be prepared because you already have it.")

  window.alert("The next contestant is a elephant. Yes, an elephant. Why? Because. Because why? Is because I am running out of ideas for Challenges. Anyways, this elephant is a mighty elephant. So mighty that it can kill you with a single step like all elephants do. You must choice to kill it with only your bare hands because that's the only way to kill it or meet your fate. Choose wisely. ")

  var E = window.confirm("Click 'OK' to kill the mighty elephant or click 'Cancel' to seal your fate.")

  if(E == true) {

    window.alert("Well that ended shortly. I mean the elephant didn't even hurt you. You just touched it once, and then it died. Why?")

  }

  if(E == false) {

    window.alert("Why did it walk away? Why, this makes no sense. You should have been dead a long time ago!")

  }

  window.alert(" Honestly at this point, this is just sad. I don't understand why. I honestly just want to quit. There is just no point in life. ")

  window.alert(" You find your next component already dead because that's how powerful you really are.")

  window.alert(" The final boss is your last challenge and as you approach it. The final boss reveals its identity, and to your surprise it is the narrator. Wow. it is so surprising. As if I haven't been trying to stop you from getting the loot. At this point I didn't care about the loot I just wanted you to lose once, but NNNOOOO you just still had to live somehow. Here are your options, you can kill me and get the game over with or kill me and get the game over with. Pretty simple, how about that?")

  var F = window.confirm(" Click 'Ok' to end this or click 'Cancel' to end this.")

  if(F == true) {

    window.alert(" Congrats, you get nothing! How does feel to not get it your way!")

  }

  if(F == false) {

    window.alert(" Congrats, you get nothing! How does feel to not get it your way!")

  }

var playagain = window.confirm("Would you like to play again? Please don't.");

if(playagain === true) {

  continue start;

}

if(playagain == false) {

  window.alert("Good, Bye!")

  exit

}

}

}

This was a math assignment given to us by Jon Pabico. It was a bit tough for me to get the correct coding for the assignment, but in the end, it paid off. The project was a coded storytelling game where there were multiple options that the players could choose from. I was able to demonstrate my creativity skills and advanced coding abilities.
